  1. The House of Allah · 1 of 14

    Ali 'Imran · 3:96

inna awwala baytin wuḍiʿa lilnnāsi lalladhī bibakkata mubārakan wahudan lil'ʿālamīna

Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Bakkah [i.e., Makkah] - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.

    Ali 'Imran · 3:96

  2. The House of Allah · 2 of 14

    Al-Baqarah · 2:125

    wa-idh jaʿalnā l-bayta mathābatan lilnnāsi wa-amnan wa-ittakhidhū min maqāmi ib'rāhīma muṣallan waʿahid'nā ilā ib'rāhīma wa-is'māʿīla an ṭahhirā baytiya lilṭṭāifīna wal-ʿākifīna wal-rukaʿi l-sujūdi

And [mention] when We made the House [i.e., the Kaʿbah] a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform ṭawāf and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]."

    Al-Baqarah · 2:125

  3. The House of Allah · 3 of 14

    Al-Hajj · 22:27

wa-adhin fī l-nāsi bil-ḥaji yatūka rijālan waʿalā kulli ḍāmirin yatīna min kulli fajjin ʿamīqin

And proclaim to the people the ḥajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass …

    Al-Hajj · 22:27

  4. The House of Allah · 4 of 14

    Al-Hajj · 22:37

lan yanāla l-laha luḥūmuhā walā dimāuhā walākin yanāluhu l-taqwā minkum kadhālika sakharahā lakum litukabbirū l-laha ʿalā mā hadākum wabashiri l-muḥ'sinīna

Their meat will not reach Allāh, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good.

    Al-Hajj · 22:37

    Al-Isra · 17:1

sub'ḥāna alladhī asrā biʿabdihi laylan mina l-masjidi l-ḥarāmi ilā l-masjidi l-aqṣā alladhī bāraknā ḥawlahu linuriyahu min āyātinā innahu huwa l-samīʿu l-baṣīru

Exalted is He who took His Servant [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] by night from al-Masjid al-Ḥarām to al-Masjid al-Aqṣā, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

    Al-Isra · 17:1

    Ali 'Imran · 3:97

fīhi āyātun bayyinātun maqāmu ib'rāhīma waman dakhalahu kāna āminan walillahi ʿalā l-nāsi ḥijju l-bayti mani is'taṭāʿa ilayhi sabīlan waman kafara fa-inna l-laha ghaniyyun ʿani l-ʿālamīna

In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it [i.e., the Ḥaram] shall be safe. And [due] to Allāh from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves [i.e., refuses] - then indeed, Allāh is free from need of the worlds.

    Ali 'Imran · 3:97

    Al-Ma'idah · 5:97

    jaʿala l-lahu l-kaʿbata l-bayta l-ḥarāma qiyāman lilnnāsi wal-shahra l-ḥarāma wal-hadya wal-qalāida dhālika litaʿlamū anna l-laha yaʿlamu mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi wa-anna l-laha bikulli shayin ʿalīmun

Allāh has made the Kaʿbah, the Sacred House, standing for the people and [has sanctified] the sacred months and the sacrificial animals and the garlands [by which they are identified]. That is so you may know that Allāh knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and that Allāh is Knowing of all things.

    Ibrahim · 14:35

    wa-idh qāla ib'rāhīmu rabbi ij'ʿal hādhā l-balada āminan wa-uj'nub'nī wabaniyya an naʿbuda l-aṣnāma

And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this city [i.e., Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols."

    Ibrahim · 14:35

    Ibrahim · 14:37

Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful.

    Ibrahim · 14:37

    Al-Hajj · 22:26

    wa-idh bawwanā li-ib'rāhīma makāna l-bayti an lā tush'rik bī shayan waṭahhir baytiya lilṭṭāifīna wal-qāimīna wal-rukaʿi l-sujūdi

And [mention, O Muḥammad], when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform ṭawāf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate."

    Al-Hajj · 22:26

    Al-Hajj · 22:29

thumma l'yaqḍū tafathahum walyūfū nudhūrahum walyaṭṭawwafū bil-bayti l-ʿatīqi

Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform ṭawāf around the ancient House.

For the accustomed security of the Quraysh - Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer - Let them worship the Lord of this House, Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.

    At-Tin · 95:1-3

inna l-ṣafā wal-marwata min shaʿāiri l-lahi faman ḥajja l-bayta awi iʿ'tamara falā junāḥa ʿalayhi an yaṭṭawwafa bihimā waman taṭawwaʿa khayran fa-inna l-laha shākirun ʿalīmun

Indeed, aṣ-Ṣafā and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allāh. So whoever makes ḥajj [pilgrimage] to the House or performs ʿumrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allāh is Appreciative and Knowing.
