Quran verses about trust in Allah

Tawakkul means doing what you can and leaving the outcome to Allah. Whoever relies on Allah, He is sufficient for them (65:3). Verses for days when worries about work, family or provision weigh heavy.

    At-Talaq · 65:3

wayarzuq'hu min ḥaythu lā yaḥtasibu waman yatawakkal ʿalā l-lahi fahuwa ḥasbuhu inna l-laha bālighu amrihi qad jaʿala l-lahu likulli shayin qadran

And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allāh - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allāh will accomplish His purpose. Allāh has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.

    Ali 'Imran · 3:159

So by mercy from Allāh, [O Muḥammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allāh. Indeed, Allāh loves those who rely [upon Him].

No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allāh, is easy - In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allāh does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful …
